One of the more interesting cabarets in New York City, Don't Tell Mama actually has a piano bar and two cabarets from which to choose. The Back Cabaret room seats 74 and is equipped with a 400-watt sound system as well as a state-of-the-art lighting system. The Front Cabaret room seats about 65, with an eight-channel, 200-watt sound system and a high-tech lighting system of its own. Another highlight to the front room is a large projection screen suspended behind the rear curtain. But what really separates this cabaret from the others is, in addition to nightly acts performing on stage, audience members also are entertained by singing and dancing staff members, namely the food and drink servers.
